Trusting God Our Heavenly Father As Our 'Source.'

  • Rating: 5 after 1 vote
Deutoronomy chapter 6 verses 10 to 12 of the Holy Bible is a warning concerning a major hindrance that can stop the flow of our God Almighty's blessings into one's life.

We can all learn from our Delivering God's promises when He gave the children of Israel 'a land flowing with milk and honey'.
He promised to drive out all of their enemies and that they would take possession of the cities, inclusive of all the houses, vineyards and bearing olive trees with all the riches.
It was proved that God,our Heavenly Father did fulfill His promises to the people of Israel since they inherited assets that they had never laboured for;meaning that their blessings were given to them 'on a platter';so to speak.

These 'Children of Israel' were under Egyptian bondage for a very long time. Thus Moses had warned them that 'they must not forget that it was our Jehovah God who had supernaturally delivered them out of Egyptian bondage and had blessed them with abundance of good living.'

Recollecting the fact that our Redeeming Heavenly Father is the 'source of our supplies' is a major key to retaining 'living in comfort and prosperity'.
Times are easy when all our needs of life are being met, when we are protected from life's dangers, when provisions of food are plenty and of top quality on the dining tables to be consumed by the family, when all the financial bondages have been taken care of by modern day 'Samaritans' who appear as Angels simply donating money for staunch faith-keepers.

At times, certain Christians become full of pride that they have acquired good-paying jobs, they live in modern-facilitated homes, drive the latest makes of expensive motor vehicles, own the most-high tech yachts, computers and other electrical gadgets, wear the latest fashions of clothing, shoes, sportswear;etal.

Many are blessed with beautiful, intelligent children and yet neglect them as 'gifts of God,the Almighty.' On the other hand, some children take their caring parents for granted and disrespect their sacrifice and hard work over the years of struggles. They take everything flippantly.
Attitudes in life are important and retaining good attitudes are essential.
Good Christians are taught to be positive, responsible, respectful, humble,
trustworthy and considerate.

No one person in his/her right mind wants to suffer the ' wrath of God,our Creator.'
The liabilities are painful, tremendous, many and unbearable.
We are reminded of a King of Judah who had lost his Kingdom and brought destruction upon himself because he had forgotten about God,our Gracious Forgiver's expectations of him.
2 Chronicles Chapter 26 verses five{5} and sixteen{16} tell us as believers about how important it is for us to remember God,our Cleanser,Forgiver,Deliverer and Redeemer as our 'Source' and 'Supply'.
