I joined Twitter, Facebook, and StumbleUpon a few years ago when I was trying to understand Web.2. I liked StumbleUpon because you got to find interesting webpages about topics that interest you. Twitter I never got into - just cant see the point of telling the world my every move and thought lol lol - I guess I like to keep some privacy, and maybe our thoughts are best kept to ourselves :-) I know it can be used effectively as when the Iranin protesters were able to keep updates coming out of Iran when the riots were at their worst. I do see value in that. Like anything popular it will draw the hackers and abusers. Facebook has it share too. Roi - you will know you have arrived when the hackers crash mff ........ lolz
One last thought on Twitter....... the first 4 letters say it all in many cases........ lolz

Twitter is okay for me since i have my trusted friends in my contact list. I used to be in Twitter, and only my friends from school were in my contacts and it was really convenient... maybe bcoz that time our mobile had free excess to twitter's site. It saved credits on our phones hehehehehe
i also had sum celebrities in my twitter......its kept me up to date with the latest fashion, news...album!! concert...ohhhh the memories... UNFORTUNATELY me hubby don't like it...so yeah... had to cancel that account.. and....yeah... twitter wz okay...
