Know what you're going to be using your computer for...

When deciding on the type of computer you want to purchase, you need to know what you'll be using it for... If you'll only be needing it for typing assignments, it may be too much to spend more than FD$500.

If you have kids than you may consider much more than that if you're going to let play High Resolution Games...

THANKS! I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO START!
Start on which? lol
I really don't trust the sales persons here, can you please tell me what kind of PC DESKTOP is the best to buy?? m looking for a fast one & with lots of memory space....don't ask me how much i want, as long as it can store my music and new software's.....
As you may already know, much will depend on the softwares you'll be installing on your computer... Softwares that use high resolution graphics are hardware intensive. Storage is getting a lot cheaper. If as you say that money is a non-issue with you then you would probably do better purchasing a brand named high-end PC or better still you may like to try a Mac. Cheers!
Mac...hmmm i've never used Mac before, is it easier than windows??
Every one of my friends with a Mac loves them. They were actually designed to be user-friendly and are less susceptible to all the bugs and breakdowns that plague microsoft. My understanding is that their operating systems are very stable. I just wish I could get a MacBook!! Wailei!!
Yes macs are safe for now because the virus writers do not particularly write that much for the MAC compares to the PC. The PC Operating System is designed to support a multitude of hardware while the mac is designed only for one specific hardware so hence more stable. :)
