Hopefully, with our teams under development right now, 2015 will prove to be a better showing for the Fiji Team. There were just way too many unfortunate circumstances surrounding the RWC 2012. It's never good for players morale, when a sport is politicised.
As for the HK7s - well - that we totally rocked!! Team Fiji was simply - marvelous. If we had to be picky, then we would have to say, that the team in general - were a little soft on the NZ-based Fijian players. There's still that veilomani vakaveiwekani on the field, in the game. They need to check that - before entering the field. If they're not in our jerseys - they're not on our team. Throughout the whole game, we were screaming at the screen, "Tea na uludrau, take them down, motataki rau, no mercy!" You know that could be another problem - they're too gentlemenly towards our own who have chosen to represent other Countries. Find your mean streak Team Fiji. Dig deep!
Thanks for the thread.

Permalink Reply by SaiNtsTabLe on March 29, 2012 at 12:00pm the only way the Fiji Rugby can and will improve, is this: Most importantly We need to nurture and support our kids rugby, they need to be taught the basics of 15, cause i believe any fijian can boy play 7s, secondly, Rules to gorvern and protect Referees on any game from the players and the crowd is vital, cause most of the time, referees are more considerate of their safety rather than the games and players. you know why, cause the fijian crowd and players uses their aggressiveness to control their mind, rather the opposite,, and that is the fact
And thirdly, critics from the public about or against the team, players or official, are mostly destructive, fijians need to start change their old menatality and think universally as far as where RUGBY is concern.
