WIFE HOSPITALISES HUSBAND..!!!!....thats quite embarrasing!!!!...women have to know their boundary when it comes to men!!!!!. in regardless of ur statues in the nation or in the world!!!

Why does it have to be FIJIAN Men????!!!!!!Men of all races do beat their wives... and also they are not all church-goers.. If you are a church-goer it doesn't mean that you cannot beat your wife!!!!!! coz most church-goers go to church just as if it is a thing to keep you busy on Sundays.. and going to church does not make you perfect, you are still a sinner and this includes everyone, Pastor,Reverend,Father,Vakatawa and all church members!!!!!!! therefore being a church-goer does not stop wife-beaters from beating their wives....

I've read a lot of articles touching on "men beating wives" and all those pitiful stories involving domestic violence or any other violence against women - ranging from sexual harassment to physical injuries, and so forth and so on.
It happened in our communities not only in Fiji but the rest of the world as well!!
From the first of these analytic dimensions, wife assault is seen to be a systematic form of domination and social control of women by men. All men can potentially use violence as a powerful means of subordinating women. Men as a class benefit from how women's lives are restricted because of their fear of violence.
Wife abuse reinforces women's dependence and enables all men to exert authority and control. The reality of domination at the societal level is the most crucial factor contributing to, and maintaining, wife abuse at the individual level. In other words, the maintenance of patriarchy and patriarchal institutions is the main contributor to wife assault. Wife assault is mainly "normal" 1. violence committed, not by madmen who are unlike other men, but by men who believe that patriarchy is their right, that marriage gives then unrestricted control over their wife and that violence is an acceptable means of establishing this control.
Mostly, am so happy that this government enact a law which involves this issue...

A warning to those who are prone to impulsive physical violence or are passive aggressors!
Angry men given 1 year to change April 13, 2012
Fiji's angry men have been given one year to change their attitude towards violence against women. This warning came after the Ministry of Women, Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation and the Fiji Police Force said they will work together towards attaining a zero tolerance of violence against women and children. Minister for Women, Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation Dr Jiko Luveni said the signing of an MOU today will give a year's preparation for the communities for awareness and training before the zero tolerance is applied. “Angry men in communities will be given a year to go through awareness, training and anger management to change their indecent behaviour towards women,” said Dr Luveni. She said such behaviour cannot change overnight. “This is why one year is given for the angry men’s attitude to change,” she said. Commissioner of Fiji Police Brigadier Iowane Naivalurua said this is part of the force’s initiative to reduce crimes against women and children by 10 per cent every year till they reach their strategic focus plan for 2014 to “be the force for the nation”. Naivalurua said they will work together to achieve the planned objectives. He said Police are also promoting women in leadership and decision making. By Ropate Valemei

I find yes they are violent wen they drink but I find there more of a mind player aka mental abuser I've been hit a couple times by my ex but the verbal abuse was a constant thing on a daily basis.
